Screening Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to International Civic Engagement Studies (ICES) will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection tools. The acceptable similarity index must not exceed 20%.

The editorial team of ICES reserves the right to immediately reject any manuscript found to contain plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or unethical academic practices. Authors are strongly advised to ensure the originality of their work prior to submission.

We recommend the use of reliable plagiarism detection software such as Unicheck (Unplag.com), Turnitin, or similar tools to verify manuscript originality before uploading it to the system.
