Cooking oil is one of the basic needs which has experienced a significant price increase and has a direct impact on culinary businesses. This research aims to analyze changes in culinary business income at Siulak Market before and after the increase in cooking oil prices. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation of culinary business owners at Siulak Market. The research results show that the increase in cooking oil prices causes an increase in production costs which results in a decrease in net income for most culinary entrepreneurs. Even though some entrepreneurs adjusted the selling prices of their products, the number of buyers has decreased. This study concludes that the increase in cooking oil prices has a negative impact on the sustainability of culinary businesses in Siulak Market and requires effective adaptation strategies to maintain income stability.
