International Civic Engagement Studies (ICES) is a peer-reviewed journal that promotes interdisciplinary research and scholarly discourse advancing the understanding of civic engagement and social education, law, economics and sports. • Political Education and Regional Science
  Research on regional science and governance within the civic education sub-program encourages active public participation in political engagement. This encompasses the study of government science, political education, and civic responsibility, as well as the role of government in functional and administrative entities. It also encompasses participatory planning, institutions, economic development, natural resource management, and rural-urban linkages.
• Economic-Based Community Engagement
  Involvement in entrepreneurial activities to create new jobs and improve the welfare of the community. Collective Economic Enterprises: Citizens who form cooperatives or small businesses together to meet their needs and increase competitiveness in the market. Economic Policy Advocacy: Citizens advocate for fair economic policies, support small businesses, or develop infrastructure needed by local communities.
• Engagement in sport science and Education refers to athlete Motivation, Psychological Well-Being, and The Application of Scientific Prinsiples to Training and Performance
  It involves understanding factors like burnout (the opposite of engagement), a participant's psychological state, and motivations for physical activity, as well as using online tools and pedagogical strategies to teach and engage students in the science of sport. This field also involves the practical application of scientific theories like biomechanics and physiology to enhance athlete performance and health.

ICES seeks scholarly work that contributes to the global dialogue on civic responsibility and social education, law, economics, and sports.
